Practical Operational Finance

This is a hands-on, practical, easy-to-follow, lively, fun-to-attend course intended for Junior Middle and Supervisory managers. The content will take you from zero understanding of business and finance, to operational financial understanding, which you’ll be able to apply easily at work.  Short, easy-to-follow modules, each in simple text, are supported by illustrative case-studies and group discussions. You’ll measure the effect of Customer Service on the top line of the Income Statement and trace this right down to profit. You’ll understand trading densities as well as turnover per sq metre. You’ll learn about the Assets of the company, you’ll learn the meaning of both return on sales and Return on Assets. Then you’ll measure the amazing cost of preventable waste and calculate it’s effect on profitability. You’ll understand the powerful effect of good ethics in the company, and the damaging cost of poor ethics on the company and its effect on customers. You’ll compete in a team based business game; and finally on completion of the program you’ll complete a project in which you’ll put your learning into practice.
