Course Overview

This is an easy-to-follow, lively, fun-to-attend course that will take you from zero or little understanding of finance, to competent financial literacy. ‘’Fill-in-the-answer’’ text is supported by interesting applied case studies and group discussion questions.

You will be able to compile an Income Statement, a Balance Sheet and a Budget. You will interpret profitability and cost measures on the Income Statement, follow the link to the Balance sheet, analyse the critical performance ratios in working capital management, see how companies succeed and where they fail. You will compile a Budget with cost-centre reports and use it to forecast business performance and cash-flows.
